The Moto Z4 is a little bit better than the Xperia XA1 Plus, having a general score of 79.8 against 73.7. Moto Z4's design is newer, somewhat lighter and thinner than the Xperia XA1 Plus. The Moto Z4 costs more money than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, but it's still a great deal, because you can get a lot more features for that extra money.
