Galaxy A80 has an overall score of 84.9, which is better than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus's 73.7 score. The Galaxy A80 body is newer, but somewhat heavier and a little thicker than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus. Galaxy A80's processor is very similar to Xperia XA1 Plus's processor, and although the Galaxy A80 has a larger amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 CPU cores.

Sony Xperia XA1 Plus features a bit more vivid display than Samsung Galaxy A80, because although it has a bit smaller display and a little worse resolution of 1080 x 1920px, it also counts with a quite better count of pixels in each screen inch. The Galaxy A80 captures much better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have the same aperture, the Galaxy A80 also has a way better 3840x2160 video resolution, a lot better 48 MP resolution back-facing camera and a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.

The Galaxy A80 has a better memory capacity for games and applications than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage. Galaxy A80 features just a bit better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has an 8% more battery capacity.
