Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is better than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, getting a general score of 81.7 against 73.7. Both devices we compare here come with Android OS (Operating System), but the Samsung Galaxy Note Edge has an older 5.0 version and Sony Xperia XA1 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo. Samsung Galaxy Note Edge is an much older device than the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, but it is just a bit thinner and a little bit lighter anyway.

The Galaxy Note Edge has a better looking screen than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a bit bigger screen, a greater display pixels density and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus features a bit more storage capacity to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note Edge, and although they both have equal internal memory, the Sony Xperia XA1 Plus also has a slot for an external memory card that admits up to 256 GB.

The Galaxy Note Edge features a little bit better performance than Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has an inferior number of cores , and they both have 3 GB of RAM memory, the Galaxy Note Edge also counts with an extra graphics processing unit. Sony Xperia XA1 Plus counts with just a little bit longer battery life than Galaxy Note Edge, because it has a 3430mAh battery size.

Galaxy Note Edge captures clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, because although it has a smaller back-facing camera sensor, a much worse resolution camera and a tinier aperture which is worse for low-light photography and video, it also counts with a way better 3840x2160 video quality.

The Samsung Galaxy Note Edge costs a little more than Xperia XA1 Plus, but you can get a better phone for that few extra dollars.
