Comparison review

Xperia 5 has an overall score of 81, which is slightly better than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus's general score of 73.7. The Xperia 5 is a much newer cellphone, and it is also just a little bit thinner and somewhat lighter than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus. The Xperia 5 counts with a little bit better performance than Sony Xperia XA1 Plus, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xperia 5 also has more RAM memory.

Sony Xperia 5 features a bit more vivid display than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has a bit better pixels amount per screen inch, a bit higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a little bit larger display. Sony Xperia 5 features a camera that is just as good as Sony Xperia XA1 Plus's camera, because although the Sony Xperia 5 has a tinier sensor and a much worse 12 megapixels resolution back camera, it also counts with a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a larger aperture for better low-light captures and video.

The Sony Xperia 5 has a lot bigger memory to store more apps and games than Xperia XA1 Plus, because it has 96 GB more internal memory capacity and a slot for an SD memory card that admits a maximum of 512 GB. The Sony Xperia XA1 Plus counts with just a bit better battery lifetime than Xperia 5, because it has a 9 percent greater battery size.

Although Xperia 5 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xperia XA1 Plus, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as Xperia XA1 Plus. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy the Xperia 5, but if you don't you can save a couple dollars and get the Xperia XA1 Plus, giving up some specs and features.
