Sony Xperia XZ3 is better than the Sony Xperia XA1, having a general score of 79.6 against 71.7. Sony Xperia XZ3's construction is newer than Sony Xperia XA1's, although it is way thicker and way heavier. Sony Xperia XZ3 has a lot better display than Sony Xperia XA1, because it has a way greater quantity of pixels per inch in the display, a larger screen and a much better 1440 x 2880 resolution.
The Xperia XZ3 counts with a way bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia XA1, because it has a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 512 GB and more internal memory. The Sony Xperia XZ3 has just a little better processing power than Xperia XA1, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Sony Xperia XZ3 also has 1 GB more RAM memory.
Sony Xperia XZ3 features a very superior battery performance than Sony Xperia XA1, because it has 3330mAh of battery capacity. Xperia XZ3 has a slightly better camera than Xperia XA1, because although it has a camera with a worse resolution, and they both have a F2 aperture and a same size back-facing camera sensor, the Xperia XZ3 also counts with a lot better video quality.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than Xperia XA1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia XA1. If you prefer to save some dollars, you can buy Xperia XA1, giving up a couple features, but you'll get the most out of your money.
