The Motorola Edge 50 has an overall score of 81.2, which is slightly better than the Xperia XA2 Plus's 78.6 score. The Motorola Edge 50 construction is much newer, lighter and somewhat thinner than Xperia XA2 Plus. Both devices in this comparison review include Android operating system, but Motorola Edge 50 has 14 version while Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version.

Motorola Edge 50 features a brighter display than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a really brighter display, a higher resolution of 1220 x 2712 pixels, a little better number of pixels per inch in the display and a quite larger display. Xperia XA2 Plus counts with a much better performing processing unit than Motorola Edge 50, although it has a lower amount of RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.

Motorola Edge 50 has a bigger storage capacity to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 192 GB more internal storage capacity. Motorola Edge 50 shoots much clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same (4K) video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Motorola Edge 50 also has a larger diafragm aperture, a way bigger back camera sensor which gives a way better image and video quality and a camera in the back with much more MP.

The Motorola Edge 50 has a really longer battery duration than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 40% more battery size.
