The Moto G Stylus has an overall score of 79.7, which is a bit better than Xperia XA2 Plus's 78.6 global score. These phones use Android OS (operating system), but the Moto G Stylus has the previous 11 version while Xperia XA2 Plus has Android 8.0 Oreo version. The Moto G Stylus is a newer device, and it is also just a little thinner and just a bit lighter than Xperia XA2 Plus.

The Xperia XA2 Plus features just a bit better hardware performance than Moto G Stylus, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia XA2 Plus also has a greater amount of RAM. The Xperia XA2 Plus features just a bit better looking screen than Moto G Stylus, because although it has a little lower resolution of 1080 x 2160 and a quite smaller screen, it also counts with a quite better quantity of pixels per inch of display.

The Moto G Stylus has a much better camera than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the Moto G Stylus also has a larger aperture, a back-facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a bigger back-facing camera sensor taking higher quality pictures.

Moto G Stylus features a lot bigger storage to install applications and games than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has 128 GB internal memory capacity and a SD extension slot that allows up to 512 GB. The Motorola Moto G Stylus has a bit better battery life than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has 4000mAh of battery capacity against 3580mAh.
