The Galaxy A80 has an overall score of 84.9, which is just a bit better than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus's 78.6 overall score. The Galaxy A80 construction is newer and just a bit thinner, but also a bit heavier than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus. Galaxy A80's CPU is just as good as the processor in Xperia XA2 Plus, and although the Galaxy A80 has a larger amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core processor.

Xperia XA2 Plus features a bit sharper display than Samsung Galaxy A80, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 2160 resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better display pixel density. Samsung Galaxy A80 features a little bit better camera than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have the same video definition, the same video frame rate and a F2 camera aperture, the Samsung Galaxy A80 also has a bigger sensor shooting better quality videos and photos and a camera with lot more mega pixels.

Xperia XA2 Plus features a bigger storage for games and applications than Galaxy A80, because although it has just 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 400 GB. The Galaxy A80 features a little better battery duration than Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 3 percent greater battery capacity.
