Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is a bit better than Xperia XA2 Plus, getting an 85.5 score against 78.6. Even though the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 and the Xperia XA2 Plus were only released with a couple of months difference, the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 is just a bit thinner and lighter. Xperia XA2 Plus and Xiaomi Pocophone F1 have incredibly similar screens, and although the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 has a slightly better resolution of 1080 x 2246 and a bit larger screen, they both have the same screen density and the same brightness.
Xiaomi Pocophone F1 counts with a superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia XA2 Plus, because although it has an external memory slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB against 400 GB, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity. Xiaomi Pocophone F1 features a little bit better hardware performance than Xperia XA2 Plus, and although they both have 8 CPU cores, the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 also has a higher amount of RAM.
The Xperia XA2 Plus captures slightly better videos and photos than Xiaomi Pocophone F1, because although it has lower 30 fps video frame rates and a smaller aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and videos, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Xperia XA2 Plus also counts with a bigger sensor and a back-facing camera with way more megapixels.
Xiaomi Pocophone F1 counts with a bit longer battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XA2 Plus, because it has a 12% greater battery size.
