Google Pixel 2 is a little bit better than the Xperia XA2 Ultra, getting a score of 81.6 against 75.5. The Google Pixel 2 is a thinner and incredibly lighter device than Xperia XA2 Ultra, even though both of them were released with only a couple of months difference. Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra and Google Pixel 2 both feature incredibly similar displays, because although the Google Pixel 2 has a bit smaller display, and they both have exactly the same resolution of 1080 x 1920, it also counts with a little greater pixel number per inch in the screen.
Google Pixel 2 has a bigger storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XA2 Ultra, because although it has no slot for SD memory cards, it also counts with 96 GB more internal memory capacity. Google Pixel 2 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Xperia XA2 Ultra. Both of them have 4 GB of RAM memory and the same number of cores.
Xperia XA2 Ultra counts with better battery lifetime than Google Pixel 2, because it has 3580mAh of battery capacity. Xperia XA2 Ultra takes just a bit better videos and photos than Google Pixel 2, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for low-light photos and video, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video resolution, the Xperia XA2 Ultra also counts with a larger back camera sensor shooting better quality videos and pictures and a camera with lot more MP.
