Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is just a bit better than the Xperia XA2, with a general score of 79.3 against 74.8. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ is an much older phone than Xperia XA2, but Samsung managed to build it somewhat lighter and much thinner anyway. Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+ has a slightly better display than Sony Xperia XA2, because it has a just a bit higher amount of pixels per inch in the display, a little bigger screen and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440px.
Sony Xperia XA2 has a little faster processing unit than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, it also counts with a larger number of faster cores. Xperia XA2 takes a little bit better videos and photos than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xperia XA2 also counts with a back-facing camera with a lot better resolution and a bigger back-facing camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Sony Xperia XA2 counts with a bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy S6 edge+, because although it has just 32 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 256 GB. The Sony Xperia XA2 features just a little bit longer battery lifetime than Samsung Galaxy S6 edge+, because it has a 3300mAh battery capacity against 3000mAh.
