Comparison review
The Xperia XZ3 has a score of 79.6, which is a little bit better than the Xperia XA2's 74.8 general score. Although it's the best in this review, the Xperia XZ3 is a heavier and just a little bit thicker phone than the Xperia XA2. The Sony Xperia XZ3 features a bit more vivid display than Xperia XA2, because it has a little brighter screen, a higher screen pixels density, a bigger display and a much higher 1440 x 2880px resolution.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 features a way bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Sony Xperia XA2, because it has a slot for SD memory cards that holds up to 512 GB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Xperia XZ3 features just a bit better processing power than Sony Xperia XA2, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xperia XZ3 also has more RAM.
Sony Xperia XA2 and Sony Xperia XZ3 feature really similar cameras, and although the Sony Xperia XZ3 has a worse 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and a lower resolution back facing camera, they both have a same size back-facing camera sensor and a same size aperture. The Xperia XZ3 features a battery lifetime that is just as good as the Xperia XA2 one, although the Xperia XZ3 also has a 1 percent larger battery capacity.
