Comparison review
IPhone 8 has a general score of 85, which is slightly better than the Sony Xperia XZ Premium's 79.8 global score. IPhone 8 is a just a bit thinner and lighter phone than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, although both were released with only a couple of months difference. Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a way better looking display than iPhone 8, because it has a much better 2160 x 3840px resolution, a lot greater number of pixels per inch in the screen, a larger screen and a little more brightness.
IPhone 8 has just a bit better processing power than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has 2 GB lesser RAM and an inferior number of cores and slower, it also counts with a 64-bits processing unit. The Xperia XZ Premium shoots a bit better photographs and videos than iPhone 8, because although it has lower 30 frames per second video frame rates and a tinier camera aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a back-facing camera with way more mega pixels and a much bigger camera sensor providing a much better image quality.
The Apple iPhone 8 has a way bigger storage capacity for applications, games, photos and videos than Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has no slot for external memory cards, it also counts with more internal storage capacity. Xperia XZ Premium has a superior battery duration than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a 77 percent more battery capacity.
