Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is a little bit better than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, getting an 84.2 score against 79.8. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro's design is a lot newer, but heavier and thicker than Sony Xperia XZ Premium. Xperia XZ Premium features a much greater performance than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has a lower amount of RAM, they both have the same number of cores.
Xperia XZ Premium has a little bit better looking display than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, because although it has a little bit smaller display and way less brightness, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a much higher display pixels density. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro counts with much more memory for games and applications than Xperia XZ Premium, because although it has no SD memory card expansion slot, it also counts with 512 GB internal storage.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro captures greater photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a bigger aperture, a lot bigger camera sensor taking way higher quality photographs and videos, a way more megapixels back facing camera and a way higher 7680x4320 video resolution. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a very superior battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity instead of 3230mAh.
