The Xperia XZ Premium has an overall score of 79.8, which is a little bit better than LG V30's overall score of 79.1. Even being the best phone in this comparison review, the Xperia XZ Premium design is just a little thicker and heavier than the LG V30. The LG V30 and Xperia XZ Premium count with quite similar CPUs, both of them have 8 processing cores and 4 GB of RAM.
The Xperia XZ Premium features a better looking display than LG V30, because although it has a bit smaller display, it also counts with a much higher 2160 x 3840px resolution and more pixels per inch of display. The Xperia XZ Premium captures just a bit better videos and photos than LG V30, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for low light images and video, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same video resolution, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a back camera with more mega-pixels and a much larger camera sensor taking lot higher quality videos and photos.
LG V30 has a very superior storage capacity for games and applications than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal storage capacity, the LG V30 also has a SD card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. LG V30 features a little longer battery life than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 3230mAh.
