The Xperia XZ Premium has a score of 79.8, which is just a bit better than Moto Z4's overall score of 79.8. Despite being the best in this comparison review, we must note that it's also an extremely older, somewhat heavier and just a little bit thicker device. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium has a much more vibrant display than Motorola Moto Z4, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a way higher 2160 x 3840 pixels resolution and a much better amount of pixels per inch of display.
Xperia XZ Premium features a little bit better hardware performance than Moto Z4. They have the same RAM amount and 8 processing cores. The Moto Z4 counts with a much bigger storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 128 GB internal memory and a SD card slot that holds up to 512 GB.
The Moto Z4 shoots better photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Moto Z4 also has a larger sensor capturing higher quality videos and photos, a bigger diafragm aperture to take better captures and video in poorly lited situations and a back-facing camera with much more megapixels.
The Moto Z4 has just a bit better battery duration than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has an 11% more battery capacity.
