The Galaxy A8 Star has a general score of 82.1, which is a little bit better than the Xperia XZ Premium's general score of 79.8. Galaxy A8 Star's construction has the same weight than Xperia XZ Premium, but it's a little bit thinner. Xperia XZ Premium features a lot better looking display than Samsung Galaxy A8 Star, because although it has a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840px and a lot more pixels per inch in the screen.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than Galaxy A8 Star, although it has 2 GB less RAM memory, they both have 8 cores.
