Comparison review
Samsung Galaxy A80 is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ Premium, with an 84.9 score against 79.8. Even though Samsung Galaxy A80 is newer than the Xperia XZ Premium, it's thicker and somewhat heavier. Xperia XZ Premium features a way better screen than Galaxy A80, because although it has a little smaller screen, it also counts with a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels and a lot greater number of pixels per screen inch.
The Xperia XZ Premium counts with just a bit better hardware performance than Galaxy A80, although it has 4 GB lesser RAM, they both have the same number of cores. Galaxy A80 shoots just a bit better photographs and videos than Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition, the same aperture and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Galaxy A80 also has a way higher 48 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera and a larger back-facing camera sensor.
Xperia XZ Premium has a bit more storage for applications, games, photos and videos than Galaxy A80, because although it has just 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for an SD memory card that supports up to 256 GB. The Samsung Galaxy A80 counts with just a bit longer battery duration than Xperia XZ Premium, because it has a 15 percent larger battery size.
