Comparison review
The Xperia 5 is slightly better than the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, getting an 81 score against 79.8. Xperia 5's construction is a lot newer and lighter, but also just a little thicker than Sony Xperia XZ Premium. The Xperia 5 features a bit more powerful processor than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Xperia 5 also has more RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ Premium features a way better screen than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a lot better pixels amount per inch in the display and a way better resolution of 2160 x 3840px. The Sony Xperia 5 counts with a way bigger storage capacity for apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ Premium, because it has 128 GB internal storage and an external memory slot that supports up to 512 GB.
The Xperia XZ Premium takes clearer videos and photos than Xperia 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is worse for low light images, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ Premium also counts with a lot more MP back camera and a larger sensor.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit better battery life than Xperia 5, because it has a 3% greater battery capacity.
