Xperia XZ Premium is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 5s, with a global score of 79.8 against 76.4. Xperia XZ Premium's design is much heavier but just a bit thinner than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and both were released with only 8 months difference. The Sony Xperia XZ Premium features a much better display than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because it has a lot higher resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels, a little bit brighter display, a way better pixel amount per inch of display and a quite larger display.
Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a bit faster processor than Xiaomi Mi 5s, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Sony Xperia XZ Premium also has a larger number of faster cores. Sony Xperia XZ Premium counts with a slightly better storage to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Xiaomi Mi 5s, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a SD extension slot that holds a maximum of 256 GB.
