Comparison review
The iPhone 8 has a general score of 85, which is better than the Xperia XZ's 73.5 global score. IPhone 8 is a newer phone, and it's also a little lighter and just a little thinner than the Xperia XZ. The iPhone 8 has a superior processor than Xperia XZ, because although it has a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with a larger number of cores and a 64 bits processor.
IPhone 8 has a slightly better looking screen than Xperia XZ, although it has a quite smaller display, a lot worse 750 x 1334 resolution and a just a bit worse screen pixels density. IPhone 8 has a much greater memory for games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has no external memory card slot, it also counts with 256 GB internal storage capacity.
Xperia XZ features a little bit better camera than iPhone 8, because although it has a smaller aperture which is not good for taking photos or videos in poorly lited situations and lower video frame rate, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video resolution, the Xperia XZ also counts with a way larger back camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a way more megapixels back-facing camera.
The Xperia XZ features a much better battery performance than Apple iPhone 8, because it has a 2900mAh battery size.
Although Apple iPhone 8 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xperia XZ. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can get the Xperia XZ, giving up a few features and specs, but you will get the most with your savings.
