Comparison review
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro is much better than the Xperia XZ, getting an 84.2 score against 73.5. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro design is notably newer, but way heavier and just a little thicker than Xperia XZ. The Sony Xperia XZ features a much faster processor than Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro, although it has an inferior number of cores and a lower amount of RAM memory.
Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a better screen than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has a little worse pixel density, it also counts with a bit higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a way larger screen. Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro shoots much clearer videos and photos than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a larger aperture to capture better photos and video in poorly lited situations, a way higher resolution back facing camera, a much better 7680x4320 video quality and a lot bigger back camera sensor capturing much higher quality photos.
The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Xperia XZ, because although it has no external SD slot, it also counts with 480 GB more internal storage. The Asus ROG Phone 8 Pro has a much longer battery lifetime than Xperia XZ, because it has 5500mAh of battery capacity against 2900mAh.
