Comparison review
Google Nexus 5 is a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ, getting a score of 76 against 73.5. Google Nexus 5's design is somewhat lighter than the Sony Xperia XZ, although it's a bit thicker and was released many years before. The Google Nexus 5 has a little better performance than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has 1 GB less RAM memory, and they both have the same number of cores, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with an extra graphics processor.
The Google Nexus 5 features a sharper screen than Xperia XZ, because although it has a quite smaller screen, and they both have the same resolution of 1920 x 1080, the Google Nexus 5 also counts with a just a little better screen pixels density. Xperia XZ features a greater camera than Google Nexus 5, because it has a much higher resolution back facing camera, a bigger diafragm aperture, a way bigger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors and a much higher video resolution.
Xperia XZ has much more memory capacity to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 5, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ also has a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 256 GB. The Sony Xperia XZ has superior battery lifetime than Google Nexus 5, because it has a 26% greater battery size.
Although Google Nexus 5 is a better device, it is a lot more expensive than Sony Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Sony Xperia XZ. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy Google Nexus 5, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Sony Xperia XZ, letting go a couple features and specs.
