Huawei P20 has a general score of 78.1, which is slightly better than the Sony Xperia XZ's overall score of 73.5. The Huawei P20 construction is newer and a little bit thinner than Sony Xperia XZ's, but it's a little bit heavier. Huawei P20 features a bit sharper screen than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a bit bigger screen, a bit higher resolution of 1080 x 2244 and a just a bit more pixels per display inch.
Huawei P20 features a bigger storage for applications and games than Sony Xperia XZ, because although it has no SD memory slot, it also counts with 96 GB more internal storage. Huawei P20 features a little faster CPU than Xperia XZ, because it has 1 GB more RAM memory and a larger number of faster cores.
The Huawei P20 features a little better battery life than Xperia XZ, because it has a 3400mAh battery capacity. Xperia XZ shoots a little bit better pictures and videos than Huawei P20, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not good for low-light captures and videos, and they both have the same video frame rates, a same size back-facing camera sensor and the same video resolution, the Xperia XZ also counts with a back facing camera with a way better 23 MP resolution.
