Comparison review

The LG V30 is a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ, getting a 79.1 score against 73.5. LG V30 is a newer phone, and it is also just a little bit lighter and just a bit thinner than the Sony Xperia XZ. The LG V30 features a bit faster CPU than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a larger number of faster cores and a larger amount of RAM.

The LG V30 has a slightly better looking display than Xperia XZ, because it has a bigger screen, a much higher resolution of 1440 x 2880 pixels and a higher pixel density. The LG V30 features a very superior storage to store more games and applications than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has 64 GB internal storage and a slot for external memory cards that allows up to 1,95 TB.

The LG V30 has just a little better battery lifetime than Xperia XZ, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 2900mAh. Xperia XZ counts with a bit better camera than LG V30, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for capturing pictures and videos in low-light environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ also counts with a back facing camera with lot more mega pixels and a way larger sensor taking much higher quality videos and photographs.

LG V30 costs a bit more than the Sony Xperia XZ, but it's still a great choice, as you can get a much better phone for that extra money.
