Comparison review

Motorola Moto Z4 is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ, getting a overall score of 79.8 against 73.5. Motorola Moto Z4's design is extremely newer and just a bit thinner than the Xperia XZ's, but it is a little heavier. Sony Xperia XZ features just a bit better display than Moto Z4, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920 and a quite smaller display, it also counts with a just a little better count of pixels in each display inch.

Moto Z4 counts with a bit better hardware performance than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a greater number of cores and a higher amount of RAM. Moto Z4 shoots much better pictures and videos than Xperia XZ, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Moto Z4 also has a bigger back-facing camera sensor which provides a better photo and video quality, a back-facing camera with a way higher 48 MP resolution and a bigger camera aperture to capture better photography in low-light environments.

The Motorola Moto Z4 counts with a very superior memory to install applications and games or saving photos and videos than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has an external SD slot that holds up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal storage capacity. The Moto Z4 features longer battery duration than Xperia XZ, because it has a 24% bigger battery size.

Although Motorola Moto Z4 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia XZ, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Xperia XZ. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Motorola Moto Z4, but if you don't you can save some money and get the Xperia XZ, resigning some features and specifications.
