Xperia 5 has a general score of 81, which is much better than Xperia XZ's 73.5 overall score. The Xperia 5 body has the same thickness than Xperia XZ, but it's just a bit heavier. The Xperia 5 features a slightly better looking display than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a larger screen, a slightly higher 1080 x 2520 resolution and a just a little higher count of pixels per inch in the display.
The Xperia 5 features much more memory for apps and games than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has an external memory slot that allows up to 512 GB and 128 GB internal memory capacity. The Xperia 5 features just a little better performance than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has a greater number of faster cores and 3 GB more RAM memory.
The Xperia XZ captures a bit better photographs and videos than Sony Xperia 5, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video frame rates and the same video definition, the Xperia XZ also counts with a back facing camera with a lot higher resolution and a bigger sensor providing a better image quality.
Xperia 5 counts with a bit superior battery life than Sony Xperia XZ, because it has an 8 percent greater battery capacity.
