Comparison review
Xperia XZ3 has an overall score of 79.6, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ1 Compact's 74.6 general score. Xperia XZ3 is a newer device than Xperia XZ1 Compact, although it's way heavier and just a little bit thicker. Sony Xperia XZ3 features a much better display than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a much higher 1440 x 2880px resolution, a really larger display and a way higher screen pixel density.
The Sony Xperia XZ3 has a little better processing power than Xperia XZ1 Compact. Both of them have a 4 GB RAM memory and 8 cores. Xperia XZ3 features much more storage capacity for apps and games than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has 64 GB internal memory and a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 512 GB.
Xperia XZ3 has a little bit better camera than Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact. They have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, a camera in the back with a 19 megapixels resolution, the same 3840x2160 video resolution, a 0.43 inches back-facing camera sensor and the same aperture. The Xperia XZ3 has longer battery performance than Xperia XZ1 Compact, because it has a 23% greater battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ3 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Xperia XZ1 Compact, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as the Xperia XZ1 Compact. If you want to save a few dollars, you can get Xperia XZ1 Compact, giving up some specs and features, but you'll get the most with your budget.
