Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ1 is just a bit better than the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), getting a 78.3 score against 77.8. Although the Sony Xperia XZ1 is older than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), it's design is thinner and lighter. Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) features a bit more powerful processing unit than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
The Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) and Sony Xperia XZ1 both feature really similar screens, because although the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) has a quite lower display density, it also counts with a bigger screen and a bit higher 1080 x 2340 resolution. The Xperia XZ1 and the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) have very similar memory to store more apps and games, they have the same internal storage capacity and a SD memory slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) captures a little bit better pictures and videos than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same video definition, the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) also has a larger back camera sensor capturing higher quality photos, better 60 fps video frame rates, a bigger diafragm aperture to capture better low light captures and videos and a way more mega pixels camera in the back.
Asus ZenFone 6 (2019) features a very superior battery life than Xperia XZ1, because it has an 85 percent more battery size.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it costs more money than Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Asus ZenFone 6 (2019). If you want to save a few dollars, you can buy the Asus ZenFone 6 (2019), and give up a few specs and features, but you'll get the most with your savings.
