Comparison review
The Google Nexus 6 has a general score of 81.1, which is just a bit better than Xperia XZ1's 78.3 overall score. Google Nexus 6 is a better cellphone than Xperia XZ1, we must tell that it is also a noticeably older, notably thicker and heavier cellphone. The Google Nexus 6 features a bit better hardware performance than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a lower number of cores (although faster) and a smaller amount of RAM, it also counts with an extra graphics processing unit.
The Google Nexus 6 features a slightly better looking screen than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a just a bit greater pixels count per inch of display, a larger display and a higher resolution of 2560 x 1440. Sony Xperia XZ1 has a way bigger memory capacity to store more apps and games than Google Nexus 6, and although they both have exactly the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has an external SD slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB.
Xperia XZ1 takes much better videos and photos than Google Nexus 6, and although they both have a F2 aperture, the same 30 fps video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video quality, the Xperia XZ1 also has a back camera with way more mega pixels. Google Nexus 6 features improved battery duration than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 19% larger battery capacity.
Although Google Nexus 6 is a better device, it costs a lot more money than the Xperia XZ1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Xperia XZ1. So if you need that extra specs, you can buy the Google Nexus 6, otherwise you can save some dollars and get the Xperia XZ1, resigning a couple features and specifications.
