Comparison review
Xperia XZ1 is a little bit better than the HTC U Ultra, getting a 78.3 score against 77. Xperia XZ1's body is just a little thinner and just a little bit lighter than the HTC U Ultra, even when they were released only a few months apart. The HTC U Ultra counts with a little bit better display than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a little bit larger display, a bit higher amount of pixels per inch of screen and a better 1440 x 2560 resolution.
Xperia XZ1 and HTC U Ultra have very similar memory for applications, games, photos and videos, both have the same internal memory capacity and a SD card slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xperia XZ1 counts with a bit better performance than HTC U Ultra, and although they both have a 4 GB RAM memory, the Xperia XZ1 also has a greater number of faster cores.
The HTC U Ultra counts with a bit longer battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 3000mAh battery size instead of 2700mAh. Sony Xperia XZ1 features a little bit better camera than HTC U Ultra, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video resolution, a 0.43 inches back camera sensor and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also counts with a back camera with way more megapixels.
Even being the best phone of the ones in this comparison, Xperia XZ1 is also cheap compared to the other phone, which makes it an easy choice.
