Sony Xperia XZ1 has an overall score of 78.3, which is a bit better than Huawei nova 3's 76.3 overall score. Sony Xperia XZ1 is a just a little bit lighter phone than the Huawei nova 3, but both are equally thin. Xperia XZ1 and Huawei nova 3 both feature really similar processing units, and although the Huawei nova 3 has a greater amount of RAM, they both have 8 processing cores.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 has a little more vivid screen than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a quite lower resolution of 1080 x 1920px and a little bit smaller display, it also counts with a little better screen density. The Xperia XZ1 counts with a quite bigger storage for applications and games than Huawei nova 3, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that holds up to 1,95 TB.
Huawei nova 3 has a really longer battery life than Xperia XZ1, because it has 3750mAh of battery capacity against 2700mAh. Xperia XZ1 has a slightly better camera than Huawei nova 3, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not so good for capturing images and/or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 30 fps video frame rates and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a more megapixels back camera.
