Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ1 is slightly better than the LG G5, getting a global score of 78.3 against 76.1. The Sony Xperia XZ1 design has the same thickness than the LG G5, but it is just a little bit lighter. The Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with a bit better CPU than LG G5, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has a greater number of faster cores.
The LG G5 has a slightly better looking display than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a greater pixel amount in each screen inch, a better 1440 x 2560px resolution and a bit bigger screen. The Xperia XZ1 features a greater storage capacity to install applications and games than LG G5, and although they both have a SD memory slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB, the Xperia XZ1 also has 64 GB internal memory capacity.
Xperia XZ1 counts with just a bit better camera than LG G5, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video definition, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a larger back-facing camera sensor providing a better image quality and a camera in the back with more mega pixels.
The LG G5 has just a little better battery lifetime than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a 2800mAh battery size against 2700mAh.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than the LG G5, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as LG G5. If you are trying to save some dollars, you can get the LG G5, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your money.
