Comparison review
Xperia XZ1 has a general score of 78.3, which is a little bit better than LG Q70's 77.9 overall score. Despite of the fact that Xperia XZ1 is noticeably older than LG Q70, it's design is incredibly lighter and a bit thinner. The Xperia XZ1 has a little bit better screen than LG Q70, because although it has a bit lower 1080 x 1920px resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a bit better screen pixel density.
The Xperia XZ1 features a little faster processing unit than LG Q70. Both of them have the same RAM memory amount and the same number of cores. The LG Q70 features a little bit better camera than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a smaller sensor taking less light and duller colors, and they both have the same 30 frames per second video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution, the LG Q70 also counts with a bigger aperture for better captures and video in low light situations and a lot more mega-pixels camera in the back.
The LG Q70's memory capacity to install applications and games is just as good as the Sony Xperia XZ1 one, both of them have a SD memory card expansion slot that supports a maximum of 1,95 TB and exactly the same internal storage capacity. LG Q70 counts with a really longer battery life than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 48% greater battery size.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the LG Q70, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the LG Q70. If you want to save some dollars, you can get the LG Q70, giving up a few features and specifications, but you'll get the most with your money.
