Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ1 is a bit better than the LG Q8, having a score of 78.3 against 77.2. The Sony Xperia XZ1 body is a bit heavier but a little thinner than LG Q8, and they were only released with a few months difference. The Xperia XZ1 counts with a bit more powerful processing unit than LG Q8, and although they both have the same RAM amount, the Xperia XZ1 also has 4 more cores.
LG Q8 features a much better display than Sony Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a screen of the same size, the LG Q8 also has a higher 1440 x 2560 pixels resolution and a higher pixels density. The Xperia XZ1 features a bigger storage for apps and games than LG Q8, and although they both have a slot for SD memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB, the Xperia XZ1 also has 64 GB internal memory.
Xperia XZ1 features a slightly better camera than LG Q8, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture which is not good for low light captures and videos, and they both have the same video frame rate and the same (4K) video quality, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a larger back camera sensor shooting better quality videos and photos and a higher 19 mega pixels resolution back facing camera.
