Motorola Edge (2024) is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ1, getting a general score of 78.5 against 78.3. Motorola Edge (2024)'s construction is noticeably newer, but somewhat heavier and a little bit thicker than the Xperia XZ1. The Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a bit better looking display than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a just a little less pixels per display inch, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a larger screen.
The Xperia XZ1 has a bigger memory capacity to install games and applications than Motorola Edge (2024), because although it has just 64 GB internal memory, it also counts with a slot for external memory cards that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with a very superior processing unit than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has 4 GB lesser RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core processing unit.
The Motorola Edge (2024) counts with a superior battery life than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 5000mAh battery size. The Xperia XZ1 has a bit better camera than Motorola Edge (2024), although it has a way smaller back-facing camera sensor capturing less light and duller colors, a tinier aperture which is not nice for low light photos and videos, a worse (4K) video definition and a back camera with much less MP resolution.
Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing here, the Motorola Edge (2024) is also very cheap compared to the other ones.
