The Motorola Edge 50 Pro has an overall score of 86.3, which is much better than Sony Xperia XZ1's overall score of 78.3. Motorola Edge 50 Pro's body is way newer, but just a bit thicker and somewhat heavier than Sony Xperia XZ1. Motorola Edge 50 Pro counts with a much better screen than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a quite worse display density, it also counts with a slightly higher 1080 x 2400 resolution and a bigger display.

The Xperia XZ1 features a much faster CPU than Motorola Edge 50 Pro, although it has 8 GB lesser RAM, they both have 8 cores. Motorola Edge 50 Pro features a superior battery life than Xperia XZ1, because it has 4500mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.
