Motorola Moto G 5G Plus has a score of 82.6, which is just a bit better than Xperia XZ1's overall score of 78.3. The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus design is incredibly newer than the Xperia XZ1's, but it is much heavier and thicker. The Xperia XZ1 counts with a little sharper display than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, because although it has a quite lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a really smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit higher pixels count per display inch.

The Xperia XZ1 counts with a greater storage capacity for apps and games than Motorola Moto G 5G Plus, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ1 also has a slot for SD memory cards that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB. Xperia XZ1 has a bit better CPU than Moto G 5G Plus. Both have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.

Motorola Moto G 5G Plus takes much better photographs and videos than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same video frame rate and the same 3840x2160 video definition, the Motorola Moto G 5G Plus also has a larger camera aperture for better photos and videos in low-light situations, a bigger back camera sensor shooting higher quality photos and a way more megapixels back-facing camera.

The Motorola Moto G 5G Plus has a very superior battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 5000mAh battery capacity.
