The Sony Xperia XZ1 is a bit better than the Moto G Power, having a 78.3 score against 76.1. The Sony Xperia XZ1 body is thinner and noticeably lighter than the Moto G Power, even though it was released 3 years before. The Sony Xperia XZ1 features a bit more powerful processor than Moto G Power. Both of them have the same number of cores and 4 GB of RAM memory.

Xperia XZ1 has a slightly better screen than Moto G Power, because although it has a little lower 1080 x 1920px resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a quite higher quantity of pixels per inch of display. Xperia XZ1 counts with a very superior storage for games and applications than Moto G Power, and although they both have exactly the same internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ1 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB.

Motorola Moto G Power counts with a superior battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has an 85 percent larger battery capacity. The Xperia XZ1 has a little bit better camera than Motorola Moto G Power, because although it has a smaller aperture, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a larger sensor which gives a better photo and video quality and a more mega-pixels back facing camera.

Although Sony Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Moto G Power, and it doesn't have such a good relation between it's price and quality as the Moto G Power. So if you want that extra features, you can buy Sony Xperia XZ1, but if you don't you can save some money and buy the Moto G Power, resigning a couple specifications.
