The Xperia XZ1 is slightly better than the Moto G6 Plus, getting a general score of 78.3 against 77.5. The Xperia XZ1 body is a little lighter and a little thinner than Moto G6 Plus, although both of them were released only 7 months apart. Sony Xperia XZ1 has just a bit better looking screen than Motorola Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a little bit worse 1080 x 1920 resolution and a little smaller display, it also counts with a just a little higher pixels quantity per screen inch.

Sony Xperia XZ1 features just a bit better performance than Moto G6 Plus, although it has a smaller amount of RAM, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xperia XZ1 features much more memory for applications, games, photos and videos than Moto G6 Plus, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ1 also has a slot for an SD memory card that admits up to 1,95 TB.

Xperia XZ1 counts with a slightly better camera than Moto G6 Plus, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a back-facing camera with a much higher 19 mega pixels resolution and a bigger sensor taking more light and vivid colors.

Motorola Moto G6 Plus has superior battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 19% bigger battery size.
