Moto G9 Plus is a bit better than Xperia XZ1, having a global score of 80.5 against 78.3. Even though the Moto G9 Plus is noticeably newer than Xperia XZ1, it is a lot thicker and notably heavier. The Xperia XZ1 features a bit superior processor than Moto G9 Plus. Both have a 4 GB RAM and 8 cpu cores.

Xperia XZ1 features a bit sharper screen than Motorola Moto G9 Plus, because although it has a little bit lower 1080 x 1920 resolution and a way smaller screen, it also counts with a just a bit better pixels density. Moto G9 Plus captures better photographs and videos than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and the same video frame rates, the Moto G9 Plus also has a camera with a much better resolution, a bigger aperture and a lot bigger sensor.
