The Sony Xperia XZ1 is just a bit better than the OnePlus 9, with a score of 78.3 against 76. The Sony Xperia XZ1 is an older phone than the OnePlus 9, but Sony made it lighter and somewhat thinner anyway. The OnePlus 9 has a little better processing power than Xperia XZ1, and although they both have the same number of cores, the OnePlus 9 also has 4 GB more RAM memory.
OnePlus 9 features a screen that is just as good as Sony Xperia XZ1's display, because although the OnePlus 9 has a little bit inferior pixels count per inch of screen, it also counts with a slightly better 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution and a bigger screen. The OnePlus 9 shoots greater photos and videos than Xperia XZ1, because it has a camera in the back with lot more mega-pixels, a lot larger camera sensor capturing more light and vivid colors, a bigger aperture to capture better low-light photography and a much better 7680x4320 video resolution.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 features a very superior memory capacity to store more apps and games than OnePlus 9, because although it has only 64 GB internal storage, it also counts with a SD memory slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB. OnePlus 9 counts with a really longer battery duration than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a 4500mAh battery capacity against 2700mAh.
