The Sony Xperia XZ1 is a bit better than Galaxy A5 (2017), getting a global score of 78.3 against 75.8. Even when Sony Xperia XZ1 and the Galaxy A5 (2017) were released with only 8 months difference, Sony Xperia XZ1 is just a bit lighter and a bit thinner.
