Comparison review
The Sony Xperia XZ1 has an overall score of 78.3, which is a bit better than the Galaxy A6's 75.8 score. The Sony Xperia XZ1 is a a little lighter and a little bit thinner phone than Galaxy A6, even when both were only released with a couple of months difference. Xperia XZ1 has a better screen than Samsung Galaxy A6, because although it has a little bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1080 x 1920 pixels and more pixels per display inch.
Xperia XZ1 counts with a bit better processor than Galaxy A6, and although they both have a Octa-Core processor, the Xperia XZ1 also has a greater amount of RAM. The Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with a way bigger memory to store more apps and games than Samsung Galaxy A6, because it has an external memory card slot that admits a maximum of 1,95 TB and more internal memory capacity.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with a much better camera than Samsung Galaxy A6, because although it has a smaller camera aperture which is not nice for low-light photography and video, it also counts with a better 19 mega pixels resolution back-facing camera, a bigger camera sensor and a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality.
The Galaxy A6 counts with a bit better battery performance than Xperia XZ1, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it is way more expensive than Galaxy A6, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as Galaxy A6. If you prefer to save a few dollars, you can buy the Galaxy A6, letting go a couple features and specs, but you will get the most out of your budget.
