Comparison review
The Samsung Galaxy Note 5 has a score of 79.3, which is just a bit better than the Xperia XZ1's general score of 78.3. Although the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is a better device than the Xperia XZ1, it must be told that it's also a older, just a little thicker and just a little bit heavier device. Galaxy Note 5 features a much better display than Xperia XZ1, because it has a better 2560 x 1440 resolution, a little bit larger display and a bit more pixels per inch of display.
Sony Xperia XZ1 features a way bigger storage capacity for games and applications than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have equal 64 GB internal storage capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has a slot for external memory cards that admits up to 1,95 TB. The Xperia XZ1 counts with a better processing unit than Galaxy Note 5, and although they both have 4 GB of RAM, the Xperia XZ1 also has a higher number of faster cores.
Xperia XZ1 counts with just a bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy Note 5, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not so good for shooting pictures or videos in poorly lited situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 video definition and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a larger back camera sensor and a back camera with more mega-pixels.
Samsung Galaxy Note 5 counts with a bit longer battery performance than Sony Xperia XZ1, because it has a 3000mAh battery size against 2700mAh.
