Galaxy Note5 is a bit better than the Sony Xperia XZ1, with an 80.2 score against 78.3. Although it's the best in this review, it must be told that it's also an extremely older, just a little heavier and a little thicker cellphone. The Xperia XZ1 has a bit better processing power than Samsung Galaxy Note5. Both of them have 8 cpu cores and 4 GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Note5 features just a bit better looking screen than Xperia XZ1, because it has a better resolution of 1440 x 2560, a quite bigger display and a bit greater pixels count in each inch of display. The Xperia XZ1 takes slightly better pictures and videos than Galaxy Note5, because although it has a tinier diafragm aperture which is not favorable for capturing photographs and/or video in low-light environments, and they both have the same video resolution and the same 30 frames per second video frame rate, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a larger sensor which gives a higher image and video quality and a camera in the back with a better resolution.
Xperia XZ1 counts with a much greater memory to store more apps and games than Galaxy Note5, and although they both have equal internal storage capacity, the Xperia XZ1 also has an external memory card slot that allows a maximum of 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy Note5 features a little better battery duration than Xperia XZ1, because it has 3000mAh of battery capacity instead of 2700mAh.
