Comparison review

Samsung Galaxy Note8 is slightly better than the Xperia XZ1, getting an 83 score against 78.3. Despite being the best phone in our current comparison, Samsung Galaxy Note8's design is a lot heavier and thicker than Xperia XZ1. Samsung Galaxy Note8 features a bit better looking screen than Xperia XZ1, because it has a quite better count of pixels in each inch of display, a larger screen and a way better 1440 x 2960 resolution.

Samsung Galaxy Note8 counts with a CPU that is just as good as Sony Xperia XZ1's CPU, and although the Samsung Galaxy Note8 has a greater amount of RAM memory, they both have a Octa-Core CPU. Xperia XZ1 has a little bit better camera than Galaxy Note8, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not recommended for shooting pictures or video in poorly lited environments, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same video frame rate, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a larger sensor which offers a higher photo and video quality and a back camera with a much better 19 MP resolution.

The Xperia XZ1 has a way bigger memory to install applications and games than Samsung Galaxy Note8, and although they both have the same 64 GB internal memory capacity, the Xperia XZ1 also has an external memory card slot that allows up to 1,95 TB. Samsung Galaxy Note8 has greater battery lifetime than Xperia XZ1, because it has 3300mAh of battery capacity against 2700mAh.

Despite of being the best phone between the ones we are comparing, the Galaxy Note8 is also very cheap compared to the other ones, making it a great choice.
