Comparison review
Galaxy S6 is just a bit better than Sony Xperia XZ1, getting a score of 83.5 against 78.3. The Galaxy S6 is an older phone than the Sony Xperia XZ1, but it is lighter and a bit thinner anyway. Galaxy S6 counts with an incredibly better looking screen than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a quite smaller display, it also counts with more pixels per inch of screen and a better resolution of 2560 x 1440.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 has a lot bigger storage capacity to install games and applications than Galaxy S6, because it has a SD extension slot that allows up to 1,95 TB and 64 GB internal memory capacity. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has a bit better performance than Sony Xperia XZ1, because although it has 1 GB less RAM, and they both have 8 CPU cores, the Samsung Galaxy S6 also counts with a 64-bits CPU and a graphics co-processor.
The Xperia XZ1 has a little bit better camera than Samsung Galaxy S6, because although it has a tinier aperture which is not favorable for taking images or videos in low light situations, and they both have the same 3840x2160 (4K) video resolution and the same 30 fps video frame rates, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a larger camera sensor providing a better image quality and a more mega-pixels back camera.
The Xperia XZ1 counts with just a little better battery lifetime than Galaxy S6, because it has a 2700mAh battery size against 2550mAh.
