Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is slightly better than the Xperia XZ1, having a global score of 80.1 against 78.3. Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is incredibly newer than Xperia XZ1, it's way heavier and notably thicker. Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a bit more powerful processor than Sony Xperia XZ1. They have 8 processing cores and a 4 GB RAM.
The Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro features a little sharper display than Xperia XZ1, because although it has a bit smaller screen, it also counts with a better resolution of 1440 x 2560px and a greater amount of pixels per inch in the display. Xperia XZ1 captures way better videos and photos than Galaxy XCover FieldPro, because although it has a lot tinier aperture, it also counts with a camera with much more megapixels, a lot higher 3840x2160 (4K) video quality and a larger sensor capturing more light and vivid colors.
The Sony Xperia XZ1 counts with a very superior memory to install games and applications than Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, and although they both have equal internal memory capacity, the Sony Xperia XZ1 also has a slot for an external memory card that supports up to 1,95 TB. Galaxy XCover FieldPro counts with a way better battery lifetime than Xperia XZ1, because it has a 67% greater battery size.
Although Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro is a better device, it is way more expensive than the Sony Xperia XZ1, and it doesn't have such a good quality/price relation as the Sony Xperia XZ1. So if you want that extra specs and features, you can buy Samsung Galaxy XCover FieldPro, otherwise you can save a couple dollars and get the Sony Xperia XZ1, giving up a couple features and specifications.
