Comparison review
Xperia XZ1 is just a bit better than the Xiaomi Mi 6, getting a 78.3 score against 76.5. Xperia XZ1 is a just a little lighter phone than Xiaomi Mi 6, but both of them have the same thickness. Xiaomi Mi 6 features a bit better CPU than Sony Xperia XZ1, and although they both have a Octa-Core processing unit, the Xiaomi Mi 6 also has 2 GB more RAM memory.
Xiaomi Mi 6 features a little more vivid screen than Sony Xperia XZ1. Both of them have the same amount of pixels in each display inch, a screen with the same size and the same exact resolution of 1080 x 1920px. The Sony Xperia XZ1 features a lot bigger storage capacity to install applications and games than Xiaomi Mi 6, because although it has only 64 GB internal memory capacity, it also counts with a SD memory card expansion slot that holds a maximum of 1,95 TB.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 features improved battery duration than Xperia XZ1, because it has 3350mAh of battery capacity. Xperia XZ1 has a little bit better camera than Xiaomi Mi 6, because although it has a smaller diafragm aperture, and they both have the same (4K) video quality and the same 30 frames per second video frame rates, the Xperia XZ1 also counts with a lot better resolution back camera and a lot larger sensor.
Although Xperia XZ1 is a better device, it costs a lot more than Xiaomi Mi 6, and it doesn't have such a good price and quality relation as Xiaomi Mi 6. If you are trying to save some money, you can get Xiaomi Mi 6, giving up a couple features and specs, but you will get the most with your budget.
